About Me

I have been a Black belt in Shotokan Karate since 1988. I was chosen as one of 5 women in the United States to fight for the US team in the Maccabiah Olympics in Israel! I have been Nationally Rated as #1 in Kata (Forms) in the Northeastern United States. I also have a passion for Figure Skating and have achieved a Gold Medal in Moves among many other accolades. For the past 15 years I have been coaching competitive figure skaters and absolutely love it! As the co-owner of a Shotokan Karate Dojo in New York for 20 years I did Personal Training for hundreds of Karate students and people just wishing to get into better shape or lose weight. I also conducted many Women's Self Defense classes in the Dojo and for outside groups as well including a Self Defense Class for Nurses in a Psychiatric Ward at a major NY hospital. I am incredibly passionate about what I do and I feel that with my life experience I am extremely qualified to help clients reach their goals.
